Monday Morning, after finishing all my work by 8.30 AM I sat down to watch the oscars. In past 23 years I have never watched oscar award function.
Why this eagerness??? just to see AR.Rahman get the award and count the number of awards slumdog wins. Each time an award for SM was announced I was so happy and exited. When they called AR.Rahman for original score, that moment i felt as if floating in the air, tears dropped down from my eyes, I am not that emotional usually, but this made me........ Next when the Jai Ho song was sung by him on the stage before top artist of LA, I felt like the entire world is turning towards Indian Cinema, but I realized the fact it is an English Movie with the subject about Slums in Bombay.........
On Tuesday, I read the Newspaper ,everywhere SM and Rahman was there..
Every Page spoke about them, but there was a small thought in the corner of my heart, Anyway it is British and not Indian film. As I was browsing saw a short intreview of Gulzar the lyricst of Jai Ho, the way he spoke about the award and the way he said all credit goes to ARR, I felt Oscar is priviledged to be awarded to such a humble person and ARR should be proud to have composed music for his words......
Though the film is English it is the kind hearts of such people that has brought such huge credits to the Film......
We have wonderful technicians here, who can create better movies, it is we people and the jury of oscars who should appreciate it.

Abiyum Naanum-Review
Abiyum Naanum, another pleasant movie from mozhi Radha Mohan. The influence of the movie is not as much as Mozhi where everyone who watched the film learnt sign language.
Castings in the Movie were good, specially prakash Raj. It is another anicdote for prakash's versatile acting. He potraits a perfect Father who has great love for his daughter. His sense of humour in the film makes everyone laugh heartily, though there are some scenes that are exagerated. It is he who is the sole reason for success.
First half of the movie is so beautiful, it is well taken, each scene depicts the true love of the father over his daughter. The school admission, introduction of the begger are some scenes in which humour is handled in its best. The scene in which mother spills hot water ,shows the blind love of the father on his kid, it is really classic. You can enjoy the movie in its first half, once trisha is introduced everything goes away.
Hype given to trisha and her sardharji lover is too much. At some point it even irritates, us. A person can be good not sooooo good like that sardharji lover(joggi). He speaks with PM, he comes in the television, he adopts all abundant people...... tooooo much. They depict him as THE PERFECT MAN in the world, in the course makes prakash a emotional villan, which doesnt suit.
The second half is too long , 70% prasising joggi, 30% putting down prakash.
It is difficult for a person to sit for the second half, but ok quite good. Radha Mohan should have shown only the childhood of the daughter.......
